The Quality & Production Coordinator is responsible for upholding the company’s quality and sustainability standards by managing sample checks, monitoring data, ensuring quality specifications are met, and overseeing raw material sourcing. This role includes a strong focus on efficiency in sample handling and maintaining high quality and consistency across all products. This role is in a close cooperation with a Buying Assistant. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sample Planning & Control

• Develop and implement a sample checking plan, determining the number of samples required and ensuring they meet quality standards.

• Coordinate and follow up on sample status, maintaining a streamlined and efficient sample handling process.

• Plan sample inspections and schedules for the Assistant ensuring timely completion.

Efficient Sample Management

• Ensure that samples are handled effectively, minimizing time and resource waste.

• Implement strategies to improve sample handling processes, increasing overall productivity and efficiency.

• Monitor sample workflow to reduce unnecessary steps and improve turnaround times.

Quality Assurance & Specifications

• Understand and apply product quality specifications, ensuring each product aligns with these standards.

• Verify that all raw materials are sourced from approved factories, maintaining consistency in material quality.

• Ensure uniform quality standards across materials and fittings, supporting a consistent product experience.

Data Management & Testing

• Monitor and maintain quality and sustainability data, ensuring accuracy and reliability in reporting.

• Conduct quality testing to validate compliance with specifications and document results.

• Ensure data is consistently updated, providing insights into quality performance and opportunities for improvement.

Quality Development & Consistency

• Support the development of material qualities, aiming for continuous improvement and innovation.

• Oversee quality across all products, securing consistent standards.

• Ensure quality control procedures are rigorously followed to maintain consistency across all production batches.

Sample Overview & Specific Focus

• Conduct in-depth reviews of samples, examining specifics to detect and address quality concerns.

• Apply a structured approach to sample analysis, creating a comprehensive view of product quality and fit.

REQUIRED COMPETENCE

• Solid working experience of min. 3 years within quality control or similar roles at a textile company, preferably in an international environment.
• Experience in raw material sourcing and quality development.
• Highly analytical, structured and self-driven
• Detailed and results-oriented with ambition to take on responsibility
• Ability to view challenges as opportunities regardless of task complexity.
• Fluently in Swedish and English
